Please read this entire page before submitting a fanfic.
So you wanna submit a fanfic to my Ronin Warriors fanfic page? Great! Anything is welcome - I don't try and decide what's 'good' or not, at least not for posting. I will say it: I do have an opinion, and I hate Mary Sues/self-inserts. However, I accept anything (except plagiarized stuff), because I do not believe in forcing my opinions on others, and I know other people may like these things even if I don't. However, I will not critique your story even if you ask, because no matter what, people take criticism of their stuff personally. I can give you tips if you like, however, and that sort of thing. Because of the sheer amount of people who can't follow directions, I am going to try and make this as simple as possible. Don't worry, I'm not trying to talk down to you, I'm just trying to cut down on the amount of submissions I have to delete each time. These guidelines adapted from Swiftgold's fanfic page.

Sending In a New Fanfic:
First, please only send five stories or chapters at a time (five per open submissions, not per email). Thank you for helping me by doing this.
This is the information I need for you to send in. Please copy this and paste it into the email. You can delete the extra info in the parentheses...
Title of story:
Author name: (please just put the one you want your story filed under)
Author email that you want comments sent to:
What chapters or parts you are sending, if any: (by this I mean Chapters One and Two, Prologue through Part Three, etc. If it's only one part, please say so. Sometimes I get a bunch of files and don't know which order they go in, so please make sure to number your files and chapters).
Is it complete: (again, sometimes I can't tell if it's 'the end' or not... putting that at the end helps too)
Sentence teaser or short description of your story: (Please don't just take a quote from your fic, or make it much more than a sentence. You can see on each and every story on the fanfic pages the kind of thing I'm looking for.)
The story can be pasted in the email (I won't get any italics or formatting that way), attached, or you can give me a URL if it's posted up somewhere else. Finally, please send your story to ArmorOfArctic@icestorm.net and only there. If you send it to any other addresses, it won't get posted.

Sending In a New Chapter:
Because I know some people finish chapters one at a time, you can use this to send in an addition to a story already sent in.
This is the information I need for you to send in. Please copy this and paste it into the email. You can delete the extra info in the parentheses...

As when it was sent in to begin with, the new chapters can be pasted in the email (I won't get any italics or formatting that way), attached, or you can give me a URL if it's posted up somewhere else. Again, please send your story to ArmorOfArctic@icestorm.net. If you send it to any other addresses, it won't get posted.

Questions & Answers:
Q: Will you alter my fic when I send it in?
A: No, not plot-wise. However, I will grammar and spell-check it, or one of my helper-staff people will. I can't stand reading something with a lot of mistakes, and in fact you can miss out on some good stuff because the grammar makes you scream. Therefore, everything on my page is gonna be gone over. Yes, it takes time, but I think it's better for you in the long run. It helps to read over your own fic before sending it in - you wouldn't believe how I have to fix the spelling of some people's own original character names! Sometimes they even change names in the middle of the fic for no reason. I will always use the first spelling of the name that I come across when I fix it.
Q: How long will it take to get put up?
A: Depends on my schedule. It takes a while to read and then edit out all of the errors. Of course school comes first. Be patient, I WILL eventually put it up there. The first stuff I get is usually the first to be put up, unless it has special problems.
Q: What kind of files can you take as attachments?
A: As far as I know I can open just about any kind. I'll let you know if you're the sudden exception.
Q: My fic's up on my own page. Can you just link to it?
A: Sorry, I won't direct-link anything. I've gone to too many archives when I wish to read a linked story and it's gone. If you have revisions or want me to copy it off the page later, please email me. I can pretty much emulate any formatting you have on it, but I won't do any extra colors (or bold text, cause in real books it's only italics for everything). So if you wrote your story in script form with the colors showing who speaks, you (or I) will have to put the names in before it can go up.
