Swift and graceful, head held high.
The spirited, intelligent, fiery eyes.
Long silken mane, tail like a banner.
The regal Nobility in his manner.
Born in the barren desert lands.
Their endurance tested over burning sands.
Purest of blood, noblest of birth.
Father of breeds, improving their worth.
Fearless in battle, exhausted and spent.
That night to sleep in the master's tent.
Exemplifying faithfulness and devotion unending.
The fiery disposition of the Arabian.
Truly Man was blessed with this friend.
The God given drinkers of the Wind.

 Star Dreaming 

Nothing on Earth compares to the sight.
Of stars in the sky on the darkest night.
We are earthbound, it doesn't seem fair.
To put all the mythical creatures up there.
There resides Centaurus, Draco, and Taurus of course.
Perseus and Pegasus the mighty winged horse.
Andromada, Phoenix, and Capricornus the Goat.
Hydra, Leo, and Equuleus the Colt.
They frolic and dance upon the night sky.
Eagerly sought by mere mortals eye.
Dazzling white points on canvas of black.
Bearing our wishes to Heaven and back.
Ageless and timeless forever it seems.
Always lighting the way for our dreams.
Illuminating the darkness with clear perfect light.
Oh, star bright please hear my wish tonight!

Your Own Shooting Star

Life gives us twenty-four hours each day.
Time waits for no-one some love to say.
We are given an unknown number of years.
To accomplish our goals before the end draws near.
So why do some people seem to wait?
Just seeming to wish and contemplate.
That they had reached high for the stars.
But instead watched life pass from afar.
The first step is the biggest when reaching for a dream.
Yet the others follow quickly or so it seems.
To achieve a dream you must not wait.
You must not worry and hesitate.
Life does not have to pass from afar.
Just grab onto the tail of your own shooting star!
