I am a wife, a mother, a grandma, and a total woman!! Can't believe I am almost 66, but I'm sure enjoying these Golden Years! I've been happily married to Jer for 19 yrs. and he is the first love in my life. We met through a mutual friend, and it was love at first sight for us both. He is my best friend, always there for me. Our deep seated Christian faith is a big factor in our relationship. My next love is my family, as you will see. I have 3 grown children, 2 married daughters, the oldest works for Social Security, with 2 children and the middle one has 2 daughters and her own business. My son is the youngest, a doctor, finally found the love of his life, Katie, and were married in August of 2007, can't wait for more g/kids! Also, I have 2 step-sons, the oldest is married his step-son is 15, his daughter, the apple of his eye, is 7 yr., and the "baby", Alex (3), is a real charmer. The youngest step-son lives in Dallas married with a son, Erik, born in March, 2003. My step-daughter, Jenni, is also married with 2 lovely children. My grand-children are also precious little people in my life. I have 10 of them now--5 boys and 5 girls. Seven of our grand/kids live close-by so I can spoil them and love them often! My interests are sewing, crocheting -especially afghans, plastic canvas, knitting, reading with a special interest in mysteries, creating my web site, blogging, and chatting with friends on the computer, gardening, can there ever be enough flowers! Also, I love to watch figure skating, anytime, anywhere. Sport teams I support are: football-the 49ers, basketball-the Kings NASCAR racing. And last, but not least, I love to cook. Good thing my hubby likes to eat and isn't fussy so I can try out new recipes for him to sample. Finally, my passion,(and Jer's too) is traveling and RVing. In the summer, we are noted for taking off for the mountains or the coast whenever the mood strikes us and now, if you can afford the fuel to get there! You can do that when you are retired! Winter finds us in Quartzsite, AZ where we enjoy the craft shows, (plus a friend & I sell at the shows now) and seeing friends from all over the US and Canada. We bought an ATV and absolutely love riding constantly. Even our Shih Tzu, Taffy, loves it and we call her the "Wagon-Master"! Now, you have it-- my personal life in a nutshell.
