The road to true love has certainly been a bumpy one for Scott and Lucy, mainly because of all the other lovers that tend to get in the way! You can't blame 'em -- hot numbers like these two are not going to remain idle for long! Lucy went through her medical phase when she was looking for love and money in the form of doctors like Tony, Alan and Kevin, and her wild sense of sexy fun proved irresistable to them. Scott, for his part, learned to love after his quickie impulse marriage to Dominique. When a brain tumor took her from him, he disappeared with his daughter Serena, and by the time he returned to town, Lucy was snuggled firmly into Kevin's arms. It took some time, but after Kevin stood Lucy up at the alter, she found herself livin' la vida loca again with Scott, as they found love and adventure in Florida!
Did anyone have a dry eye when Scott told Lucy at the Nurses' Ball that they were approved as adoptive parents? There were tears of joy all around for fans who have watched Lucy through the years; through all of her devious schemes, she has always had a huge heart for children.
First, she tried to be a surrogate for childless Bobbie and Jake, but she ended up wanting the baby herself before she lost it. Then she served as B.J.'s stepmom while married to Tony, and she still places flowers at the little girl's grave. Then she was pregnant with Scott's baby while wed to Alan, and our hearts broke when a fight with Alan led to a miscarriage. Lucy was a surrogate for Scott and Dominique, but she lost both her best friend and Scott took Serena away. Her miscarriage of Kevin's child was even more painful, but now Lucy and Scott are ready to adopt crazy Julie's baby daughter Christina!
