Well it finally happened the new millenium is here!! Hopefully we have all learned from our mistakes in the past, and that will make this new millennium a happy one. If any of you spent new years eve in Time Square first of all let me say i wish i were you cuz my parents are mean and wouldn't let me go!! Even though i wasn't alive for much of it this last millennium was surley a memorable one. and here are a few of my most important memories.
Shooting @ Columbine~ even though we would all like to pretend we didnt care about this it affected us all in one way or another and we all need to respect the people who died at columbine for being brave coragues people.
Death of Princess Diana ~ I remember the night she died so clearly I was sitting at home with my mom and little brothers and me and my brothers were racing boats in the bathtub and we went to ask my mom something and wwe found her crying. It was a very sad occassion for people all around the world.
Boybands!!! ~ New Kids on the Block, BSB, NSYNC, 5ive, 98 degrees. Even if you don't or didn't like any or all of these groups they somehow had an impact on your life and on our society. This has also definetly been the highlight of my childhood all of these groups have really had a huge impact on my childhood or teenage years.
Death of the Kennedy's ~ I know alot of these are deaths and sad things that have happened but that seems to be the kind of stuff you hear about most nowadays. When I heard about the Kennedy's I honestly didn't know who they were but once i heard more about it, it made me sad to see that so many people who had never met the Kennedy's were mourning their deaths. I still don't totally understand why the Kennedy's were so important but i know for sure that they really were a loss to society.
Ryan Phillipe and Eminem ~ okay okay so they didn't really do anything huge in the last millennium but they sure did change my life!! (hehe)
