Our mares are of some of the best known bloodlines in the miniature horse industry. They are either offspring of National Champions or the producers of National Champions. Our bloodlines include the famous: Rowdy, Vant Huttenest, Komokos, Del Teras, Sligo, Bond, Roan Ranger, Paul Bunyan, and others.

Highlights of some of Sequoia Ranch Mares

Sami's Quite A Striking Kid Gorgeous bay yearling mare with crystal blue eyes and wild blaze! She is Paul Bunyan bred and her sire is four times National Top Ten Stallion, Sami's Kid Banana. Her sire produces one National Champion after another, and she carries on the tradition. She is futurity nominated and will be bred to Alamo Streakers Mime in the spring, for another National Champion!

Rainbow Acres Lady Bon Bon: Bon Bon is a Multiple Grand Champion mare and National Top Ten mare. She produces champions ! With gorgeous head and eye this mare will be our top producer. Bon Bon is bred to Flaby Medicine Man our overo Sr. stallion for 2000. Medicine Man produces small and refined babies.

Lazy Acres Dancing Girl: Pretty little light sorrel mare that carries the old established Del Teras, Ohios, and Vant Huttentest bloodlines. Big eye, long neck and smooth gaits. All the attributes we want to pass on to our babies. Dancing is bred to Laurel Acres Rocky Rowdy a Multi Supreme Halter Horse and National Top Ten Jr. Stallion for the year 2000.

Star Fire: Very refined red roan with lots of action! Pretty head and neck and has lots of attitude! We bred her to Flaby Medicine Man for an overo baby!

4 G’s Bambi Silver: Gray dapple mare that has that pretty Arab look.. She has won in solid color mares and just produced this awesome itty bitty filly with Arab head and saucer eyes. We can’t wait to show her off! Sha Sha is a Sha Jehan granddaughter and has over 30 registered miniature horses in her pedigree. Sha Sha is bred to our "Rowdy" son.

Double J. Godiva: She has the true "horse look" and is cremelo with two blue eyes. She is from a small background and produces small and correct babies. She throws the stallion color every time! She just produced the tiniest little bay roan appaloosa colt that will be lucky to see 26". His first time in the show ring he went Regional Top Ten weaning stallion! "Lil Buck" we call him, so watch for him in the show ring next year! Godiva is bred to our "Rowdy" son.

Lucky Four Cover Girl: Typey black pinto that just missed being an overo. Small head and ears and she passes them on. . Her 99 filly is full of attitude and presence! She will be a winner in the show ring for sure! She is Del Teras and Van Huttenest breeding. Cover Girl is bred to Laurel Acres Rocky Rowdy a Multi-Supreme Halter Horse and National Top Ten Jr. Stallion.

Kegleys Autumn Leaves: Pretty little refined filly that has lots of presence. We showed her earlier in the year and she did well. We have included her in our breeding program now. She should make a wonderful broodmare. Autumn is being bred to our "Rowdy" son to carry on the legend of "Rowdy".

Laurel Acres Dream A Little Dream: The daughter of the famous Flying W Farms Dream Merchant she carries his imprint! She is dappled like her daddy, showy and refined. She is a National Top Ten Jr. Mare and her babies should follow in her footsteps! Dreamer is bred to Flaby Medicine Man for the year 2000!

Ashley Acres I’ve Been Framed: Pretty little black frame overo mare. She has produced a pretty little strawberry roan filly that we have shown and won with lots this year. She is being bred Supreme Halter Horse and National Top Ten #3 Color Stallion, Alamo Streakers Mime.

Renegades Shooting Star: Black pinto mare, small and refined. She is the daughter of the Multiple Grand Champion "Desert Shadows Renegade" and she moves like a dream. She is bred to Laurel Acres Rocky Rowdy and multi-Supreme Halter Horse and National Top Ten Jr. Stallion for the year 2000!

Royal Oaks Bewitching Lady: Pretty little sorrel overo mare that is a National Top Ten Mare. She is small and refined with a bald face and blue eyes. She is bred to Supreme Halter Horse and National Top Ten #3 Multicolor Stallion, Alamo Streakers Mime for the year 2000.
