My personal favorite: “I'm down with just the Backstreet Boys,” Howard Stern admits confidently. Keep in mind, he does not always like everyone!

“The guys from Aerosmith and Metallica came to see the show (in Barcelona). We had a great time hanging out with them. On our day off the hotel pool was filled with musicians from all 3 bands. Backstreet Boys hanging with heavy metal guys. Strange. Steven Tyler from Aerosmith talked about songwriting with us. (he said it took him 9 months to figure out why Jamie had a gun). We all got sunburned, but felt refreshed. That night we all went out to see the Aerosmith show. It was nice to get a really good dose of Rock n Roll from one of the best bands in the world. Trust me, we needed it and it felt great. They were really nice to us. Steven Tyler sang right to us and me and Dennis got laminated backstage passes that will allow us to go to any Aerosmith concert in the future. Way cool, I love my job,” Mr. Tommy Smith (BSB Band) beams. [Ref: www.bsbband.com Website, July 1999 News Section]

When the reporter asks “Any similarities between the Backstreet Boys and the Beastie Boys?” Adam Horovitz from the Beasties replies, “Dance steps, looks, outfits, attitudes, just general being basically.
And Mike adds on, “And also we really wanna start using the chairs in our show but we haven’t found a set of matching chairs…”

According to Puff Daddy and Jay-Z, “they're a tight-ass group man.” Brian even gave Puffy a hug during the 98 VMAs when BSB won the "Best Group Video" award.

“BSB are my personal favorites,” Dr. Dre shrewdly confesses.

When asked the question "You've said that you admire the Backstreet Boys. Why?" reggae artist Shaggy truthfully answers,"I just think they work hard. I knew them since, like, 1991, working the malls and the circuit in Europe. These guys worked their tails off, then came to America and blew this whole thing up. Then everybody just kind of rode in on their coattails. The Britneys and the 'N Syncs, they kinda just rode in. I'm sorry...I like the Backstreet Boys 'cause they were the ones who did all the fu*kin' work. These guys should be given a little bit more respect. I don't really dig their music. To be honest-and I gotta be honest-I don't even own a BSB album, but I respect them for what they did. For the amound of work, I gotta give 'em props." [Ref: What Magazine, April 2001, Pg.26]

“It's great to see a bunch of hard working guys that care so much for their fans!” exclaims Bryan White.

“They’re my boys-I'm a big fan,” declares Foxy Brown. Foxy was even seen at her CD promotion with Howie D! [Ref: Foxy Brown’s promotional party for her CD]

“They're all too talented,” says Brandy.

“They're really great guys, and I'm glad we share the same record label,” Aaliyah informs. She also shares a choreographer with them-Fatima. And Fatima does a good job making both of them look good.

“They’re cool,” Billie says with a smile. “I admire their work a lot. They’re amazing performers. They have great movement, good rhythm and really beautiful voices.” [Ref: J-14 Magazine, June 1999, Pg.8]

Says Vanessa-Mae, “(They) are really sweet. I never knew how great they were live.” Last September, while appearing in Argentina, she was introduced to the Backstreet Boys. The next day, the global heart-throbs invited her to accompany them in concert while they performed their ballad, “I’ll Never Break Your Heart.” [Ref: Teen People Magazine, June/July 1999, Pg.87]

“Whenever they're here in L.A. doing a concert or something, we just have to go see them” squeal Jennifer Love Hewitt and Lacy Chabert of "Party Of Five."

Sarah Michelle Gellar confesses that, “Oh, I think they're just great!” Does that not slay you? [A/N: lame attempt at a joke, but I had to add it in]

“I love the Backstreet Boys,” Daisy Fuentes gushes.

“These guys truly have the best work ethic in the entire business certainly unparallel in my 18 years of doing this,” according to Linda Zbitnew of BMG Canada. [Ref: Much Music, "Egos & Icons"]
