WHO IS MY BOY?

When the Boys held a press conference for the release of Millennium, Much Music Canada had the opportunity to interview Howie, Kevin and AJ. One of the questions asked was: "Everyone has a favorite Backstreet Boy. Who is your favorite Backstreet Boy?" Their paraphrased answers are as follows: [A/N: may not be correct down to the word; sorry, not blessed with a photographic memory]

Kevin: Who's my favorite Backstreet Boy! Wow... Hmm... [A/N: take your time Kev, otherwise the equilibrium of the world will shift] Brian or AJ, it's hard. Brian's my cousin, I love him. [A/N: and they wonder why people make fun of "i do NOT sleep with my cousin" Kentucky] AJ, I'm real proud of the way he's grown.

Howie: Wow, that's a hard question. But I'd have to say AJ, only cuz I've known him the longest. We have been together for a long time in this business. From when he was 11 and I was 16... We have alot of the same values and interests.

AJ: Hm... I'd probably have to say Howie, only because I've known him the longest. We grew up together in this business.

Steffi: Although I have been a fan for two years, I do not have a favorite BS Boy! How could I choose 1 from the 5 incredibly talented and good-looking men that compose the BS Boys? However, Nick-ay has a special place in my heart because he was the reason for my BS obsession, even though he is not my "current" favorite. Therefore, the remaining eligible favorites are Brian, Kevin, AJ and Howie. While I admire AJ’s bad-boy ways and Howie’s sweet simplicity, I think Brian and Kevin are the most well-rounded. Yet choosing between them is the hardest decision of all. In short, I have written over 150 eloquent words, but have not answered the question at hand.

And so the world turns and life goes on. The answer to the above stated question eludes me until one fateful night while I am lying in my bed. As the corners of my lips curl into a smile, I suddenly realize that my favorite Boy is: [A/N: drum roll please; a little louder; there; dum dum dum dum] Kevin! Kevin Richardson is my favorite boy! Steffi actually has a favorite now after two years! [A/N: PLEASE; restrain your enthusiasm]
