Contains the history, location and a photo gallery of the event. One of the best Scottish Concerts on the Island! People come here from all over North America.


Glenora Inn & Distillery.
This is the home of North America's only single malt whisky distillery. Pictures and information about the area.


The Inverness Beach.
Discover this 5 mile long beach. Watch the fishing boats enter and leave the harbour. Sit on the sand and listen to the ocean. If you're there at the right time, you can even do a little whale watching without leaving the shore!

Inverness Academy.
More information about the area, focusing on the new school, built in 1992-93. They built it the same year I graduated from high school, so I didn't attend this one. The class of 1992 was the last graduating class from the Inverness Consolidated School. We were the end of an era.

Inverness is a wonderful place to visit; especially in the summer months. If you plan your vacation for the last two weeks in July, you will be in town for the Gathering Days. You will have a lot of things to keep you busy. Everything from street parades to the famous Broad Cove Concert, which you will find a link for above. Not to mention the fact that you can walk to the beach and relax on the shore to watch the sunset on the water. For great articles about the weeks local happenings, don't forget to pick up the Inverness Oran while you are browsing the gift shops on the main street.
