Baby baby pt 3

The Christmas light were being taken down as Roz and Daphne entered the bridal shop , Charlie was a year old now and sleeping soundly in his stroller and Alice now 3 was bouncing along at Roz's side . It was less that a week to the big day and they were all going for their final fittings , Daphne's dress as Roz had commented again and again was amazing , it was Gold raw silk long and straight with the longest train either of them had ever seen and she looked wonderful in it . Roz Alice and Charlie were all wearing silver with the designer having made a one off little morning suit for Charlie and a fairy like dress for Alice . Roz having conceded to the job of bridesmaid on last time was to be in dress similar to Daphne's but with out the train , the fitting went perfectly and they left laden down with boxes and bags and headed to Frasier's to leave them where Niles wouldn't be able to see them .

Mean while across town the boys were having a more difficult time with the Morning suits

"This jacket is too big" Niles complained

"Mine Too" Martin added

"Well you lucky mine is too small!" Frasier grumbled

"And as for these trousers I don't know how much weight he thought I might have put on in 2 weeks but they are massive" Niles continued

"Mine are too long" Came Martin's reply

"And mine too short , this really is ridiculous Niles couldn't you have picked a decent tailor?"

"I did I don't know what has come over him ! Antony !!"

The tailor entered and immediately seen the problem " Allow me" He said He took Niles jacket from him and gave it to Martin , then Martins to Frasier and Frasier's to Niles . He then performed the same action with the trousers . "I think you'll find that a little better" He said laughing and off course it was , the boys left each carrying a box and headed for the Montana.

When the day of the Wedding arrived Niles was his usual nervous self he was standing in the church waiting for Daphne his thoughts were interrupted by Frasier ,

"Niles I want to say something"

"Go on"

"I know I wasn't always supportive over the years especially before you and Daphne became an item but I just want you to know that I couldn't be happier for you"

"I know Frasier , I'm a very lucky man"

"Indeed you are"

The church was full and all seven of Daphne's brothers now sat staring up at him , he had already had the "If you hurt our sister we'll break you in two" speech and he was now confident that they'd accepted him , well almost accepted him . Just then the wedding march started up and Roz and Alice and Charlie in Roz's arms came walking down the aisle Roz hand Charlie to Niles and he kissed him and handed him to Frasier . Then He saw her , she was at the other end of the church He felt himself go weak at the knees she was so beautiful , before he knew it she was beside him , He smiled and took her hand

"You look wonderful! I love you"

The vicar stood in front of them "We are gathered here today..." he began "...... Do you Niles Crane take this woman Daphne Moon to be your lawfully wedded wife , will you love , honour ,cherish and keep her in sickness and in health and forsaking all other keep thee only on to her for as long as you both shall live ?"

"I do" Niles replied

"And do you Daphne Moon take this man Niles Crane to be you wedded Husband do you promise to love , honour , cherish and obey him in sickness and in health and forsaking all others keep thee only onto him for as long as you both shall live?"

"I do" She answered

"Then with the power vested in me it gives me great pleasure to pronounce you Man and Wife , you may kiss the Bride"

Niles took her in his arms and as a thunderous round of applause filled the church he kissed her

The reception went off perfectly , Frasier , Niles , Martin , Billy Daphne's brother and even Roz made speeches all of which included something along the lines of at last , we thought you'd never get your act together ! And that night as they lay on the bed in a very quiet little hotel in the south seas with Charlie in the crib next to them Niles looked into Daphne's eyes and whispered

"Do you realise you have made me the happiest man on the planet?"

"Well that can't be very fair then" she answered

"Why?"

"Well I'm the happiest woman on the planet do you think it's fair to hog all the happiness?"

"Oh yes" Niles replied "Trust me I'm a Doctor"
