November 26, 1999
The NBC affiliate in Nashville, TN, WSMV, ran the anticipated feature regarding the resurging interest in Bertram's case on Thanksgiving Day (November 25). To visit WSMV's site, click here. We will be posting a transcript of the feature within the near future.
November 23, 1999:
New updates to the site:
Images of the cliff, from which Bertram supposedly fell in 1976, have been added;
Copy of the newspaper article from a Livingston, TN newspaper in 1976 has been added as well. The article was published after Bertram's body was discovered in 1976.
November 20, 1999:
The Channel 4 news feature centering on Bertram's case is now set to air on Thanksgiving Day (November 25).
November 16, 1999:
James Lewis, a reporter from Nashville, TN's NBC affiliate Channel 4, came to Livingston, TN to conduct interviews with Bertram's brother Ryan; her mother, Ann; and myself.
The feature is scheduled to air today. Transcripts or a synopsis will be posted when it becomes available.
Ryan has a meeting scheduled with the District Attorney for Livingston on November 22 in regards to the possible re-opening of his sister's case.
November 13, 1999:
The Webmaster has sent information to several Tennessee state representatives in the hope that they can assist with this case.
Responses will be posted on this site as we receive them.
James Lewis, a reporter for Nashville, TN's NBC affiliate, Channel 4, is planning to film an upcoming feature on Bertram's case.
The Webmaster is in contact with Lewis and more information will be posted on this site as it becomes available, including possible air dates.
