Biography: Robert Jordan was born in Charleston, SC in 1948 where he lives with his wife, Harriet. He graduated from The Citadel with a degree in Physics. He served in the US Army during Vietnam, accumulating many medals. He is a history buff who also enjoys outdoor sports, such as hunting and sailing. He has written since 1977, and has no intention of stopping.
