Welcome to the fourth issue of Flash Me Magazine.

This issue marks several changes: our submission guidelines have changed, our email address has changed, our submission email address has changed, and most importantly, we will start our second year in publication by paying ALL contributing authors!

To help us continue to pay all of our authors, we have made our PDF version a subscription service for a minimal fee. We hope this will help cover the costs of the magazine, and eventually let us offer pro rates in the near future. We're growing, and as we do, we'll pass those benefits on to our authors!

Submissions for the fourth quarter were astounding! They almost doubled the enormous amount received last quarter. This didn't stop us from keeping our turn-around time low, but it did give us a great many choices for this issue. In preparation for the switch to a paying market, we chose fifteen stories for publication this quarter. Next quarter we'll be trimming that number down significantly to keep costs down, so enjoy it while you can!
