Welcome to the fifth issue of Flash Me Magazine.

Well, we survived a year! Not only have we survived, but the magazine is doing very well. Submissions continue to amaze us, the feedback on each issue has grown, and we've finally hit a benchmark where we can pay our authors for their wonderful stories. It's been a great year, and we're looking forward to another year of amazing flash fiction.

We did lose an editor during this last quarter. Due to time constraints, Jason has resigned. We are very sorry to see him go, as he was one of the founding editors of this magazine. This did make me realize just how busy the editors have become, with the steady increase in submissions.

To help us manage the influx, we have added two new editors, and are still looking for a sixth member for our editorial board. If you think you have what it takes to become an editor, check out our home page for more info!
