Joseph Fiennes will be galloping into the old Wild West to play a cowboy. "I'll have to dye my hair blond and probably learn how to handle a six-shooter," he mused as we sat at a London club on Sunday night.

Joseph - who cut a dashing figure in a Tommy Hilfiger black leather coat with red lapels - travels to the US soon to make the film Dust with Australian actor David Wenham.

"David and I play cowboy brothers who fall out, and I have to chase him across the Atlantic to Macedonia. The film has flash-forwards and flash-backs across a whole century," Joseph said.

Adrian Lester will also appear, as a man who breaks into an elderly woman's apartment in New York. "The woman begs my character to listen to her life story and she recounts this fascinating tale about Joseph and David's characters," Adrian explained before jetting off to New York for filming with director Milcho Manchevski.

Meanwhile, Joseph has to complete work on Enemy At The Gates in Germany.
