Michael ("Mike/Mick") Emery, born December 31, 1952, was taken in by the Fienneses' as foster son when he was 11. He is now an independent archaeologist, currently working on a dig located just outside of Chester, England. Mike's project is called Poulton after the medieval abbey and chapel they found there. He has a daughter, Kate, and a son, Luke.
