5/26/89
- Nickname: 5/26/89
- Favourite other teams: Barnet and Los Angeles Galaxy (MLS)
- Where do you sit watching Arsenal: I was a North Bank regular from 1968-1991 till I emmigrated to America. Whenver they're on the telly now I either watch them at the Britannia pub in Santa Monica, Grunions in Manhattan Beach, the Great Australian Bite in Redondo Beach on Fox Sports World or at home on Fox Sports Net, Fox Sports Net 2 or espn2.
- Reason for supporting Arsenal: On Saturdays when I was a kid, my parents would take me and my brother to visit my uncle who lived a stone's throw away from Manor House tube station. After lunch he would take us to away from Manor House tube station. After lunch he would take us to either THOF or Shite Fart Lane depending on who was at home that day. Anyway, after one trip to the N17 scum, my brother claimed his undying love for Jimmy Greaves, Alan Gilzean and co. So like any other brother would do, I decided I would follow the Gooners. Thank God that I saw the light
- Favourite current player: Anyone in an Arsenal shirt.
- Favourite all time player(s): Charlie George, Chippy Brady, Ian Wright.
- Favourite Arsenal manager: Arsene Wenger.
- Least favourite all time player(s): George Wood, Perry Groves, Martin Hayes, Superbrat.
- First game remembered: Losing to Leeds in the '68 League Cup Final:-(
- First home game attended: Q.P.R. in '68.
- How long on AFCi: Since 1997
- First people you met from AFCi: Nouge (whatever happened to him?) actually met up with me while he out here in California. On the site itself, the people that I chatted with were ClockEnd Col (another one whose disappeared off the face of the earth), Arsenal Mits and JESS.
- Best Arsenal memory: No contest here. Liverpool 0 Arsenal 2 on Friday May 26th, 1989 [Doesn't somebody have that date as their nickname on AFCi?:-)] when we won the league with that up for grabs goal from Mickey Thomas. I was at Anfield on that great night. That whole weekend was unbelievable from the coach that I was on breaking down on the motorway to missing the first 20 minutes of the game to partying with Theo Foley in the supporters club at 5 o'clock the following morning to the parade at the town hall on Sunday to the knees up in Trafalgar Square afterwards
- Worst Arsenal memory: Losing away to York in the Cup in '85 to a last minute penalty thanks to Steve Williams' hot temper by smacking a York player in the box:-(
- If you managed Arsenal what would be the first thing that you'd do: I'd find a way to cure DB10 of his fear of flying so that he can play in more away games for us in Europe.
