A New Love for Haruka by Haruki (PG)

It was the Silver Millenium. Small Lady had already taken place as Sailor Moon, the old senshi beside her, until their children where old enough to fight alongside her. Every senshi had a daughter . . . except for Haruka and Michiru.

They were quite statisfied with the way they lived. They both lived in the same apartment in Downtown Crystal Tokyo.Women still believed Haruka was a man, and Michiru was still a talented violinist.

" Michiru-chan!" Haruka said as she came up to Michiru. " How do you like my tux for the ball tonight?"

" How about you wear a dress for once?" Michiru asked.

" A dress?" Haurka said as she made a face. " I only wear dresses on SPECIAL occasions."

" This is special to me." Michiru said. " Please?"

Haruka sighed. " Oh, fine. But nothing too fancy." She slowly walked back to the apartment.

Haruka fidgeted. They were at the ball, and Haruka felt ver uncomfortable in a dress.

" Ma'am, would you like to dance with me?" a man asked Michiru. She happily said yes, and they went out on the dance floor. Haruka felt left out. She sadly slumped down.

" Miss, are you in need of a dancing partner?" a voice said. Haruka looked up to see a very handsome man looking down at her. " You seem a bit left out."

" Ah, no thanks." Haruka said. She would never dance with a man.

" Ha, a stubborn one," the man said as he laughed. " Oh come now, it shall be fun." He lifted her up, and dragged her onto the floor.

They started dancing to a waltz. Surprisingly, the man was a very good dancer.

Soon, Haruka got comfortable with dancing with him. " You are a very good dancer." the man commented. " I don't see why you didn't want to dance."

" I don't enjoy dancing in dresses with men." Haruka said. She quickly regretted what she said.

" Oh, you must be one of those-" He stopped. " Nevermind. My name is Hiyong Yo-Hang. Everyone calls me Yo, most of the time."

" I am Ten'oh Haruka." she said. " I am Sailor Uranus, Senshi of the Sky."

" Ah, one of those Sailor Senshi." he said. " You must be some sort of royalty, then."

" You could say I am connected with the Royal Family." she said with a smile. This guy isn't too bad, she thought.

" Well, Haruka-chan," he said after the dance was over. " Thank you for being my dancing partner. I hope we meet again in the future." He bowed to her, and left with a smile.

Haruka left to go rejoin with Michiru. Michiru looked mad.

" Who was he?" she said sternly.

" Oh, you're allowed to dance with a guy but I'm not?" Haurka said.

" But this is you." Michiru said. " You've never danced with a man in your whole life."

" Maybe I should do it more often." Haruka joked.

" Can we leave now?" Michiru asked.

" No, this party is just getting better." Haruka said. " Besides, I have friends to make. Would you excuse me?" She left to go find Yo, leaving Michiru dumbstruck.

" Haruka-chan!" Yo said when he saw Haruka approach him. " I thought you didn't like men."

" I said I don't dance with them," Haruka said. " I can socialize with them." This made Yo laugh.

" I like you, Haruka-chan," he said. " You have a good sense of humor. And you look absolutely fabulous in that dress." He winked.

" Why, thank you." Haruka said with a gigantic smile.

" Hey, guys," Yo said to his friends. " This is my friend, Ten'oh Haruka." All the guys said hello, and went back to their stuff.

" My friend Michiru is down there." Haruka said as she pointed out Michiru.

" She doesn't look too happy." he said as he stared at her.

" That's because I'm over here, and not over there with her." she said. " We're very close."

" She pretty, but she seems to serious." he said. " I like you better." He smiled.

Suddenly, another waltz came on.

" Shall we?" Yo asked.

" I'd be delighted." Haruka said. They happily went onto the dancefloor, and danced the night away.

" You never acted that way before." Michiru said in the car. " You almost never crack jokes, and you didn't flirt with one girl. I saw you with that guy the whole time."

" Yo-chan is very nice." Haruka said. " Besides, you can't waltz for your life." She laughed at her little joke.

" See what I mean?" Michiru said. " You never said jokes like that before."

" Lighten up, Michiru-chan." Haurka said. " We're both 28 years old, and we've been each others friend for practically our whole life. Don't you think we need some new friends?"

" No." Michiru said. She was silent the rest of the car ride home.

Haruka was sitting up in her bed, reading a book. She was waiting for Michiru to come to bed. She hadn't talked to her the rest of the night. Haruka went into the living room.

Michiru was sleeping on the couch.

" She must still be mad." Haruka said glumly. She closed the light and went back to her room.

The phone rang.

" Hello?" Haruka said.

" Hi, Haruka-chan," Yo said on the other line.

" Oh, hi, Yo-chan."

" Whats new?"

" Nothing. Whatcha want?"

" Are you interested in going to lunch with me tomorrow?"

" Me? OK."

" Great. I'll see you at the burger joint on Juuban Ave." He hung up.

She put the phine down, and went to Michiru's closet.

" Hmmmmm," she said. " Which dress should I wear?"

Haurka went into the kitchen wearing Michiru's blue and yellow flowered dress.

" Excuse me, but what are you wearing?" Michiru asked before she was going to leave.

" Uh, a dress." Haruka said innocently.

" When did YOU start wearing dresses?"

" Since yesterday."

" You are not leaving this apartment."

" Oh, yes, I am."

" No, you're not."

" Too late." She walked out of the door. Michiru sighed.

" Haruka-chan!" Yo said as he saw Haruka. " You look stunning."

" It's just one of my old dresses." she said as she blushed.

" Usually, I see you wear pants." Yo said.

" Uh..." Haruka said. " So, what's new?"

" Nuthin," he said. " So, let's go to that burger joint."

" OK," Haruka said. Yo extended his arm, and she took it. The merrily strolled down Juuban Ave.

" Haruka-san?!" Mako said frantically. " In love with a guy? The world is gonna end!" All the senshi laughed.

" Guys, its not funny." Michiru said.

" Michiru-san, don't be mad," Rei said. " This just means Haruka-san is becoming normal. You should go do the same." They laughed again.

" You guys have to help me!" Michiru pleaded.

" With what?" Usagi asked. " If their destined to be in love let it be. Maybe they'll get married, like me and Mamo-chan are!" She giggled.

" Now I remember how immature my queen can be...." Michiru mumbled.

" Hey, I heard that. Just because I am a queen, doesn't mean I can't have fun." Usagi said. " I am very happy for Haruka-chan."

" The wedding should be a huge celebration." Chibi Usa said.

" Shut up, Small Lady," Michiru said. " They aren't married yet."

" Don't you dare talk to my daughter that way!" Usagi said, showing her serious side. " Michiru-san, you came here for our help, and if you're going to be so impudent, I suggest you leave immediately! All the senshi are married and it's fine if Haruka-chan is getting married too! So, LEAVE!"

Michiru gave her queen, and all the senshi dirty looks. Then, she left.

" What a brat." Minako said. " She should be happy for Haruka-san."

" I knew she would move on someday." Setsuna said.

" So did I!" Hotaru said. " Haruka-papa, uh, should I call her Haruka-mama now?"

" It would be appropriate." Setsuna said.

" OK," Hotaru said. " Haruka-mama was getting less interested in Michiru- mama. I hope she marries Yo."

" Me too." Usagi said.

It was midnight. Haruka and Yo were strolling in the park.

" Tonight was wonderful." Haruka said. " I want to thank you."

" It was nothing." Yo said. " I've never had this much fun with any other girl in my life."

" I've never had much fun with men until now."

He looked into her eyes. " I wish this night would never end. I want to be with you for my whole life."

" So do I."

They stared at each other for a while, then leaned in for a kiss.

" Aw, they're soo cute!" Usagi said from behind a tree.

" We really shouldn't be spying on them." Rei said.

" Neo Queen Serenity!" an onlooker said. They both turned around. " What are you doing outside the palace?"

Haruka and Yo looked up from their kiss. " Usagi-chan?" Haruka said.

" Neo Queen Serenity?" Yo said.

" Hi, Haruka-chan." Usagi said.

" Oh, brother." Rei said.

" What are you doing here?" Haruka asked.

" Michiru-chan came to us, and she was pissed off cause you were with Yo." Rei said.

" Yo-chan, I want you to meet Hino Rei, and Tsukino Usagi, who is also Neo Queen Serenity." Haruka said.

" Hi hi!" Usagi said happily. " When's the wedding?" Yo laughed. " I thought our queen was a boring, serious, and dull woman. But now I know I was wrong. You're just the opposite." They all laughed.

" So, like I said, when's the wedding?" Usagi asked. Haruka and Yo looked at each other.

Yo bended down on one knee. " Haruka-chan," he said as he pulled out a beautiful sapphire ring. " Would you be my bride?"

Haruka looked at him, her eyes lit up with happiness. " Yes!" she said. " Of course!"

Yo smiled, and they both kissed.

Rei and Usagi smiled.

" You look so gorgeous, Haruka-chan," Michiru said as she admired Haruka's wedding dress.

" Thanks, Michiru-chan." Haruka said.

Michiru got over the whole thing when she found out she and Yo were getting married. She learned to accept it. Now, she was the maid of honor.

" Are you sure you're OK with this?" Haruka asked. " I know you still have the same feelings...."

" I'm totally OK with it." Michiru said. " You're my best friend." Haruka smiled.

" Hi hi!" Usagi said as she entered. She was wearing her usual, white gown with her angel wings and crown. Chibi Usa was right behind her in a Princess Serenity type of gown.

" Hi, Usagi-chan! Hi, Chibi Usa-chan," Haruka said happily.

" I wish I could be a bride's maid." Chibi Usa said stubbornly. " Or at least a flower girl. But I'm the princess, so I can't."

Rei, Mako, Minako, Ami, and Setsuna came in as bridesmaid. Hotaru came as a flower girl.

" We're ready!" Ami said.

Mamoru walked in. " Haruka-san? The ceremony is about to start."

" Good luck, Haruka-chan." Michiru said. All the women left, leaving Haruka alone.

" This is it," Haruka said. " My big day."

The wedding march started. Everyone stood up, and looked at the bride. Haruka came down the aisle, with a beautiful bouquet of white roses, to match her white dress that had white roses all over it. Her head dress had a white rose tiara with ther vail coming down from it. She looked stunning.

" Look, there's mama!" Mizuno Kasama said as she pointed to Ami. All the senshi's daughters were attending, even though they were only seven.

" I thought Haruka-san was gay..." Kino Homata said as she saw her walk down the aisle.

" Sush!" Meiou Myiung said to Homata. " What a rude thing to say!"

" My godmother looks so pretty." said Tomoe Lin.

The all watched as Haruka approached Yo.

" Ten'oh Haruka," the priest said. " Do you take Hiyong Yo-Hang to be your lawful wedded husband?"

" I do."

" And, do you, Hiyong Yo-Hang, take Ten'oh Haruka to be your lawful wedded wife?"

" I do."

" I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the birde." Yo lifted up Haruka's vail, and they kissed.

It was 10 years later. Yo and Haruka had a little baby boy named Haruki, and he was 7, 10 years behind the other new senshi. He would be Uranus Knight.

" Mama, I just completed my third course in training!" Haruki said happily.

" That's nice." Haruka said. She was filling out a letter to Neo Queen Serenity so she could put Haruki in the sailor senshi. She kept on writing Ten'oh as her last name, and she still wasn't used to writing Hiyong.

" Go and play, son." Yo said as he entered. Haruki ran out.

" My bride." Yo said as he stroked Haruka's hair. She grew it longer, and her hair was now down to her shoulders.

They stood up and kissed.
