*Note* This is a poem centering around the aftermath of
Zoisite's death, and Kunzite blaming himself. Kind of
depressing, if I do say so myself. One of my more
thought-provoking pieces of poetry. Wait. Did I just say
"poetry" and "thought-provoking" in the same sentence? Ack!
On a happier note, don't you just love the picture? I think
the rose scene perfectly symbolizes the bond between Kunzite
and Zoisite: a perfect balance of a hot-headed pretty boy
and a cool, calm, collected, icy man =^.^= Anyways, hope you
like the poem!

I must have made a mistake
In teaching, instructing you
For what else could account for
Such an untimely death
Of someone so vigorous?
I knew he was smart enough
Strong enough, quick enough
And in my lust never noticed the danger in
His underlying hatred, temper, deceit
And I am suffering now
Because I was blinded by love
He was so vulnerable, so weak
Given to me as an assignment
He soon became my cherished little one
But was considered to be a student
Nothing more, nothing less
For love is forbidden in the darkness where we live
But oh, how our relationship grew
And how lucky we were to have each other
And now he's gone
Because I cared too much
If I had only taught him
To be patient, to think things through
Perhaps he would still be
Here. In my arms, in our bed
Happily together in the darkness
But I failed in my mission
Failed myself, Beryl-sama, and you
And now I face the ultimate punishment:
Solitude for eternity
Oh, Zoisite, I'm sorry; I was wrong
