look beautiful but when it draws the butterflies and hummingbirds to your garden you will

fall in love with nature.

 

Use plants in birds and butterfly gardens that are a source of nectar and plant a wide variety so you have birds

and butterflies attracted to the garden throughout the season. Butterflies are most

active in mid to late summer so its wise to have varieties blooming at that time.

Group colours of pinks, purples and white flowers to better attract the butterflies.

Create your garden in a sunny spot with a large rock for basking in the sun. Place larger bushes on the perimeter of the garden for protection of the wind. A water bowl placed in the garden is nice as butterflies require water. Do not use pesticides in the garden.
