Welcome to My Country Cottage

I have always loved the elegant things in life in almost everything....the deep rich colors in home decorating, the diamonds, rubies and sapphires in jewellery, the victorian feel of nice furniture, the exquisiteness of a dozen freshly cut roses in a beautiful crystal vase, the silver cutlery and china dinner plates on a diningroom table. But I also can't ignore the desire for a warm, cozy country cottage, where you wear your slippers, drink tea from a mug, sit in front of the fireplace in your woolies and smell fresh baked pie throughout, the evening breeze when sitting on the wrap-around porch in the swing watching the birds on the feeders and squirrels dig for their winter store and the geese flying overhead, amidst the changing leaves of the seasons. There's something warm and inviting about 'country', the quilts, the dried flowers, the homemade crafts, the down to earth of everything.
