Two years in a row Owen Sound's Festival of Northern Lights won the national contest for the best display of lights. That's why so many tourists and full bus tours make their way here nightly during these winter weeks. And they are definitely not disappointed.
Wonderful Sights for All Ages
Light displays are concentrated along the harbour & river as well as into Harrison Park. It all began by someone lighting a Christmas tree on top of the Chicheemaun while it was berthed in the harbour one winter. Every year new displays are added.
City Residences Participate to Add to the Festivities
Butterfly Dreams is only one of hundreds of homes and businesses that light up during the festival weeks. With so many participants, Owen Sound held its winning title for the second year running.
