MORE AREA FALLS

This falls, while not a spectacular drop, is nevertheless a beautiful sight. Bring your bathing suit & climb the stairs of the falls on a warm summer afternoon. And don't forget your camera! Often lots of waterfowl.

One of the smaller communities in the area boasts one of the higher falls. The lookout deck affords you a wonderful view, not only of the falls itself but also the pipework above the falls through what at one time had been an old mill. A must-see for local history buffs.

Another falls that was used originally for its water-power, Inglis Falls used to power a grist mill which can still be visited at the top of the precipice. Today it is used by the Conservation Authority as a Tourist stop where you can purchase gifts and souvenirs. Inglis Falls is located just a couple of miles outside the city and you can drive within a matter of feet of this magnificent area waterfalls.
