This falls, while not a spectacular drop, is nevertheless a beautiful sight. Bring your bathing suit & climb the stairs of the falls on a warm summer afternoon. And don't forget your camera! Often lots of waterfowl. |
WALTERS FALLS
One of the smaller communities in the area boasts one of the higher falls. The lookout deck affords you a wonderful view, not only of the falls itself but also the pipework above the falls through what at one time had been an old mill. A must-see for local history buffs. |
INGLIS FALLS
Another falls that was used originally for its water-power, Inglis Falls used to power a grist mill which can still be visited at the top of the precipice. Today it is used by the Conservation Authority as a Tourist stop where you can purchase gifts and souvenirs. Inglis Falls is located just a couple of miles outside the city and you can drive within a matter of feet of this magnificent area waterfalls. |
