Established in October of 1986, Cajun Farm
is conveniently located about 35 miles North-East of Detroit, right off
I-94. We are a private 40 acre farm, and considered "hobby
farmers". The land is farmed with hay which is enjoyed by our
horses and others that are lucky enough to purchase our hay. My husband
is very picky on how he does his hay and stands by every bale he sells.
We have beautiful green pastures to benefit our horses. It shows in
their health, growth and coat conditions. All are bright eyed, happy and
content.
We use to average 10 to 15 horses
plus a few boarders. Now that life has taken
me in other directions, time has come for us
to scale down. Some of the mares has been
sold and our stallion is for sale. I feel
this is the best way to give the quality
attention these little horses deserve. We
still cater to the miniature horse as some
of our borders are still with us. The joy of
breeding and showing is no longer in my
schedule. We still need the enjoyment these
little horses bring us...just not as many.
We take pride in what we have and do,
we enjoy showing off our accomplishments. We are dedicated, honest and
hard working people. Visitors
are always welcome!
