Lawson Hall, Greenville
Lawson Hall, 94, the widower of Alma McCallum Hall, formerly of Saluda Lake Road, died Sunday, April 8, 2001, at Oakmont Nursing Home. Born in Hartford, Tenn., he was a son of the late J.A. and Rachel H. Hall and a retired supervisor with JP Stevens - Dunean Plant. Mr. Hall was a member of Berea Heights Baptist Church. He served as devotional leader for Sunday and Thursday services at Oakmont Nursing home from 1971-1979.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Charles (Lucille) Watson, Mrs. Roy (Ola Mae) Satterfield and Mrs. Thomas (Ann) Lowery, all of Greenville; five sons, Claude H. Hall of Piedmont, Homer H. Hall, Roy Hall and Bobby
E. Hall of Greenville, L.A. Hall of Laurens; a brother, Ellis M. Hall of Greenville; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; and friend and prayer partner, D.L. Summey of Greenville.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Charles Hall, Richard Hall, Steven Hall, Edmund Watson, Russell Lowery, Jerry Williams, Tom Rolen, Gary McKinney and Ron Herrin.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest with visitation prior to the service at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Claude Houston Hall, Greenville
Claude Houston Hall, 78, formerly of York Drive, died Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2002, at Richard Campbell Veterans Home, Anderson.
Husband of the late Janie Mae Wigington Hall, he was born in Broxton, Ga., a son of the late Lawson and Alma McCallum Hall.
A graduate of Welcome High School, he was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran of World War II, and a member of the 412th Fighter Squadron. He later retired from J. P. Stevens, Monaghan Plant.
Mr. Hall was a member of Oak Crest Baptist Church where he served many years as a deacon and teacher of the Men's Fellowship Bible Class. He was also a member of the Judson Masonic Lodge No. 319 A.F.M. and the American Legion.
Surviving are a daughter, Cindy Williams and husband, Jerry L., of Easley; sisters, Ann Lowery, Ola Mae Satterfield, and Lucille Watson, all of Greenville; brothers, Homer Hall, Roy Hall, Bobby Hall, all of Greenville and L.A. Hall of Laurens; and a grandson, Jacob Williams.
Funeral services will be today at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Charles Hall, Edmund Watson, Richard Hall, Russell Lowery, Steven Hall, and Phil Hall will serve as pallbearers.

Family members are at the home of his daughter, 103 Gayle Ridge Drive, Easley.
