When she died in 1946 her age was given as '75', which would make her born 1871; but she was 4 years old in the 1870 Sevier Co, TN census. Parents: Isaac Ramsey and Anne Grooms. Parents: John Jackson "Jack" Grooms and Elizabeth Ramsey. She was married to James Daniel "Dan" Gunter. Children were: Sarah Jane Gunter, Berlin Gunter, Maybelle Gunter, Garland Gunter, Mary Ann "Lady" Gunter.

(3)Mary Grooms Mary Grooms was born in 1896. She died on 29 Feb 1968. Parents: John Jackson "Jack" Grooms and Elizabeth Ramsey. She was married to William Bobby Rhinehart in 1914. Children were: Ben Rhinehart. She was married to Joe K. Woody in 1917. Children were: Rufus Woody, Lillie Woody, Della Woody. She was married to _____ Ball.

(4)Virgie Grooms Virgie Grooms was born in 1905. She died in 1970. Parents: John Jackson "Jack" Grooms and Elizabeth Ramsey. She was married to _____ Lackey.  

(5)Albert Grooms. Albert Grooms was born in 1909. He died in 1929. Parents: John Jackson "Jack" Grooms and Elizabeth Ramsey.
