NEW! 25mm Cavalry

These new "Homegrown Figs" cavalry castings represent the experienced veterans fighting late in the war. "Confederate Cavalry with Command"
These additions to the HOMEGROWN line represent the late
war Confederate Cavalrymen and his leaders. Armed with pistols, carbines
captured from his Federal opponents. shotguns and other assorted
weaponry, these men fought on foot more often than mounted. Seldom was a
Saber seen except in use as a symbol pf leadership in use by the
Confederate Cavalry Officer. Buglers are included in the Command
groupings as a Bugler still represented a positive system of passing
orders that might penetrate the noise of battle. Various Flags and
Guidons cut and stitched in many different patterns, were carried by the
unit Guidon Bearers. These banners acted as focal points for maneuvers
and as reflections of the units positioning on the field of battle or
the line of march.
