ISP Internet Service Providers, there are a lot out there nowadays, bare in mind that there's no regulation as to what they can say, so if they say they are the fastest that's probably not true, just think if you owned an ISP you'd say you were the fastest if there was no regulations on what you could say, so watch out! Modem Set-up When a new connection is made the default options are set, i.e. all protocols are selected. First go to control panel > Internet options > connections > highlight the connection name > settings > properties then server types. Set the options to the following:
