The uniforms of the Volunteers were blue
or scarlet jackets or coats, with white or check pantaloons.
Commandants were supplied with clothing
or allowed the following sums in order to secure them locally:-
Sergeants' suits, £3 3s 9d
Drummers', £2 3s 6d
Corporals', £1 11s 3d
Privates', £1 9s 3d
