their driver's
test, Erik von
Detten is fast
on the track
to film and
television stardom. He is best
known for his starring role as Wally
in the feature film comedy, "Leave
It to Beaver," and also stars on the
Disney Channel series, "So
Weird." Erik began his career on
daytime television, starring as
Nicholas Alamain on "Days of Our
Lives." He has guest starred in
numerous series, including "ER,"
"7th Heaven" and "Touched By an
Angel." He earned a Hollywood
Reporter Young Star Award
nomination for his appearance in
the movie, "Christmas Every Day,"
and has appeared in such
television movies as "A Stranger to
Love," "Escape to Witch
Mountain," "A Season of Hope," "In
the Line of Duty: Kidnapped,"
"Replacing Dad"; and the
miniseries, "In the Best of
Families." Erik also lent his voice
to the character of Sid in Disney's
blockbuster computer animated
feature, "Toy Story," and provided a
voice in the Disney animated film,
"Hercules." His film credits also
include starring roles in "Amanda"
and "Top Dog"; and the Disney
Channel's "Brink." Off-camera, Erik
is gifted at a myriad of activities.
Born and raised in Southern
California, he is a skilled surfer and
enjoys snowboarding,
skateboarding, skiing, golf and
sailing. He is also an avid guitar
player. He has become involved in
a number of charitable endeavors,
including the Starlight Foundation
and the Make-A-Wish Foundation,
both of which serve seriously ill
children around the world. Erik
currently resides in Southern
California. His hometown is San
