Stephen Gately, who was dropped from his solo record deal while Ronan Keating found fame, will play the lead in the musical Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat. The baby-faced star said to be reuniting with ex-boyfriend Eloy after their split earlier this year, will appear in the Liverpool Empire production from December. It is then set to move to London West End. Stephen said: "I can't wait. I've turned down a number of shows over the past few years but now feel this is what I want to start my West End career with."
