Stephen newsBoyzone's Gately to Make Theatrical Debut in Joseph Boyzone's Stephen Gately is set to make his theatrical debut in a new production of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. The show will run from December 16 through January 11 at the Liverpool Empire. Boyzone was won of United Kingdom's most successful boy bands. The group had six number one singles and four number one albums in seven years. Gately was the first Boyzone member to embark on a solo career and released his first solo recording New Beginning in 2000. Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat retells the Biblical story of Joseph, his 11 brothers and the coat of many colors. This new production of the ever-popular tuner is expected to transfer to the West End in 2003.
