Do you have a favorite POV (point of view) that you enjoy? Do you tend to write using the same POV for all your stories?

 Have you ever considered reworking your draft in a different POV?

POV is an important craft element and can make or break your story. Experiment! Try different POVs with different characters until you find one that makes your story spark.

 Here are some POVs that you might try:

1. First Person (uses "I" as the narrator)
2. Second Person (uses "you")
3. Third Person Unlimited ("he/she" - also called the omniscient POV)
4. Third Person Outer Limited ("he/she" - camera view from one character's perspective)
5. Third Person Inner Limited ("he/she" - also called close POV)
6. Combo  (also called limited omniscient POV; mostly found in suspense, crime, mystery and detective stories and uses a combination of inner limited and unlimited POVs)
7. Multiple (Any combination of the above POVs might be used. Each section, scene, or chapter uses only one POV)

Whatever POV you use in your final version, make sure it's one that works for your story.
