January 9, 2007 Taking Too Long

I am Michael Jae and I am a very impatient human being.

I hate waiting. And I know some of you do too.

I hate waiting in a fucking car dealership for 6 hours to get a car. I was at Grossinger the other day getting a new car, but it took 6 hours to get the deal done. I came in with a price they told me a new price, so I went along with it. Then they wanted a bigger price. I stayed with my original, and I ended up leaving with a monthly payment $5 cheaper than what I expected.

I hate waiting around for service people to come to my house to fix something. Cable, electric, phone…what the hell is up with this four hour window bullshit! “Our represenative will be at your house between 1pm and 4pm.” So my three hours are blown if the guy doesn’t come between those times? What a bunch of crap!

You know that brings me to how Best Buy shoved it up my ass when I bought a TV from them. The fucking guys wanted my pregnant girlfriend to shovel the driveway so they could bring the TV up. Furthermore, we were told the TV would come in the afternoon. They wanted to bring it in the morning. Then when they fucked that up, we were forced to wait until 6pm the next day during our 12-4p window. They sent us a gift card which we used for the home theatre system we have now. But still, why do I have to wait? Set up a time, and if you don’t show up, like Dominos, the shit is free.

Why do I have to wait on hold for a while to update my I Pass? Look guys, you want me to update the shit so I don’t get a ticket. I am sure the reason so many people get violations on I Pass is because they don’t feel like waiting on hold to correct the problem. Then when you get violated ( and I never have, I have heard this from people) you get to wait to see the hearing officer. What the fuck?
