Roads
Another piece of Michael Jae trying to be a writer:

Have you ever taken a look at someone walking on the side of the road?
This person is a nameless person.
He isn’t nameless because he doesn’t have a name, but because no one cares who drives by him
He can be many things, and no one would care
He could be drunk, lonely, getting fit, cooling down, collecting his thoughts
No one gives a shit about the nameless freak walking down the road

The nameless man walking down the road can be affected but it would affect no one
He could get kidnapped, trip and break a leg, hit by car
And because he his nameless, no one would care because when you see him
You see an obstacle

Yes an obstacle walking down the road that you must avoid in order to get to point B of a busy day
You have to slow down so you don’t hit him
But if you did, would you stop?
You don’t know him, so why would you?

You may speak of moral goodness and other bullshit like that
But does it exist in a place like this?

This man does not become important until he has a name
When you know his name, he then is important
Why do names make people important?
Is it so you can relate to them, get to know them, when you call a name, that person turns to you as to answer whatever it is you may want to ask

Maybe you want to know his birthday, so you can get him a gift
Or maybe so you know his age and the experience he has in life
Maybe you want to take him to dinner and then in your bed
Or maybe he is a freak of nature like that of a car accident so you cannot look away

The one thing is for sure
No one cares about that man walking down the road
We all walk down roads
We never know where they will take us
They may bring us fortune; they may bring us pain
But the day we stop walking is the day we fade away and become nameless to ourselves
Now that is a cross I cannot bear

Thanks and have a nice day
MJ
