The Life of a Father
Hello peeps. Welcome to the journal.

I know we haven’t seen a new edition of Static lately, but I’m getting to it. I’m adjusting to being a father and working 15-16 hours a day, and let me tell you it isn’t easy.

They say the Peace Corps is the toughest job you’ll ever love. Being a parent I believe it just a tad bit higher than that. I love my daughter. She is so cute! She makes me remember I’m human. Being a father is a great feeling. Don’t let anyone tell you its over rated.

So what can I say, life is good. I am back on the radio doing the good ol’ mJp again. A little more mature since the WRLR days. Back with my old pal Kasper again, along with my loving woman Vicki (yes Tina LoFrisbee). I haven’t taped episode D in two months because of my added responsibilities and the fact the studio I was editing in closed down, but a new one is up and I have to get my ass over there soon. I am also looking for cast members to put together a chilling story I have in my mind. The deal for Diseased Philosophy is done. The book should be out by the end of the year. Now, only if I can get some sponsorship of my work and we’ll be in business.

Jersey seems to like football. She focuses on TV when football is on. She is rooting for the Giants. I can tell. She also is going to be a Sox fan like daddy. If you haven’t seen her pictures yet, you gotta see them.

I never thought at 31 I would be a father, or even alive. It is a blessing to have both, plus working my way into the stuff I love. Creating new work. I produce the Libby show everyday, and it is a new adventure. You never know what will happen, as the promo says. Some interesting people call in. I knew talk radio was going to be fun, but it is more than I imagined. It is high time I was able to use the skills I’ve learned over the years and put them to use.

It is an exciting time in my life, and love the fact you are interested. I promise I will have episode D completed soon.

Thank you and we’ll talk soon.

JAE
