Bear Down or Bears Down?
Here we go kiddies, the Bears are in the Superbowl.

Let’s be honest, this is without a doubt the worst NFC championship team in the history of football. This team got lucky more times than a leprechaun hanging out at Jenna Jameson’s house.

Am I complaining about it? No. But this team has been a monster in the playoffs.

The way the Bears bitchslapped the Saints two weeks ago here in Chicago was a glorious one for the ages. They stuck up the so-called experts asses on ESPN. They played their hearts out, and Rex didn’t turn over the ball. This was the second week in a row that he avoided it.

And once again the media is on the Bears and Rex’s ass again. The Bears are seven point dogs in this evenly matched game. The Colts are a menace to society and unlike the Bears and their rookie QB, they have a lethal weapon that is in one million commercials and calls him Peyton in the house of Mannings. Well maybe Manning can shoot one more commercial for Preparation H and the tagline can read, “The Bears D just sacked my ass, and I got is this Preparation H to make it feel better.”

Or maybe it will be that crappy one that says “I’m going to Disneyland.”

I am not football expert, but I can tell you that both teams have a great running game. Both teams have the defense to get the job done. The Colts didn’t always have it, but they have in the post season. Manning will be the deciding factor in this game. If the Bears stop him, the game will be theirs. It will be a running game match up at that point and although you have to admire Joseph Addai’s ability, if the Bears can stop the tag team of McAllister and Bush, they can stop Addai. If not, it is anyone’s game. Rex will have to hold onto to the ball, and will have to launch it at the right time. One thing about Rex against New Orleans, he panicked when NO scored those two TDs and started throwing mini hail marys. Once he regained composure, he looked like a star.

This is for all intensive purposes, Mannings last shot at Superbowl glory. The pressure is all on the Colts to win this one, while the Bears not only are looking at this for fun, its just another chance to stick it up the media’s ass like they have done all year long. This is also another big factor to decide this game.

And as far as the first black coach hype, one of them will be the first African American coach to win in the Superbowl, while the other one will be the first African American coach to get his ass whipped in the Superbowl.

I cannot predict a winner in this game, but I can tell you it will be Viniateri and/or Gould being the deciding factor. A field goal will decide the winner. We can only hope here in Chicago it will be the Bears.

So raise your beers Chicago, the Bears are in the Superbowl, and hopefully they can win, and this will only lead the way to a Bulls championship and the White Sox bringing another one home for the Windy City. GO BEARS!!!!
