THE JAE JOURNAL

April 27, 2004

Hello friends and family. Welcome to my nightmare.

So I got to do my first on air bit at the Zone. I got to go to a hotel and harass them to find George Clooney for me. It was funny ass shit. I even got my dumb ass thrown out. I hope to do more stuff like this. It was quite a rush.

In other news, how about that Sox game on Sunday. They walked their way to the win. Nice work Tampa Bay. I mean, it was embarrassing enough you guys balked and overthrew during the Friday night game. This sinks to a whole new low now.

I am not into reality TV, but I must say how proud I am of Bill Rancic for winning the Apprentice. The man dropped Loyola’s name in on the show, wants to work in Chicago, and is very proud of his hometown. Plus, I have had the pleasure of meeting Bill and he is a pretty down to Earth, nice guy. Hey, so he said he likes dirty women. Most guys do. What’s the problem here? Oh I’m sorry the dirty ugly chicks can’t get any so they’re the ones bitching. Whatever.

Billy Joel has done it again. He crashed his car into poor 93-year-old Marie Dono’s house in New York. Nice work Billy. You think you are a big shot, moving out, looking for an uptown girl, piano man now doncha? I think you better keep the faith and sing us a song or you’ll be in jail for the longest time.

Michael Jackson fired star attorney Mark Gerragos who is taking on the Scott Peterson murder trial. Who can he get better than Gerragos? I don’t think his buddy Elizabeth Taylor is able to represent. Maybe he can get Donald Trump since he talked up Jackson really good on Larry King recently. Perhaps, Tito, Jermaine, or Latoya, or someone else from that whacked out family can represent him in a court of law. Hey since I forgot about Janet, I have a great idea. Maybe Janet can walk into the courtroom, have a wardrobe malfunction in front of the judge and say “please don’t be nasty to my brother” or some goofball shit like that.

Slipknot rocked the Congress I heard on Friday and so did Fear Factory. I am very upset that I missed that show. It is great that two of my favorite bands many people wrote off as being done are out there rocking shit up again. Archetype is one of my favorites for the year so far. That is the Factory’s new album.

I saw Kill Bill Volume 2 last weekend. No not the weekend of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays on PCP, but the weekend before. Not as much action as one. I think we should rename the movie to Take Pills Volume 8 because that is how many one needs to stay awake for the flick. Too much dialogue. It was OK though. Good fight scene between Uma Thurman and Darryl Hannah.

I am looking for e-mails and calls for “South Side Shootout” which takes place every Monday on “Team Regime” at 10am or so. I am looking for baseball fans to call in. Sox fans to bash on the Cubs and anyone else in our path, and Cubs fans to whine.

My condolences go out to the family of Cleo Woodward who did Wednesdays at 11am at WCRX. He passed away due to a car collision that took place over the weekend. He was a nice guy, and he will be missed. Rest in peace my man.

That does it for now. Take care and keep on listening on Mondays. www.wcrx.net.
