Thank God It’s Over |
Season 4 was during a time of my life full of drama and discontent. It was a sad period. First off, the whole WRLR thing put me in a bad place. I wasn’t happy about that. Secondly, I was hitting somewhat of a creative block, and third I lost my cast due to myself and them. It was not fun and I usually look forward to putting together the highlight episodes for every season, but not too thrilled about this one.
I had some of my worst rants during this season. I fucked up left and right, and although we made some good characters like Rev. Jimmy and Mitchell Rimmonds, I still am disappointed with the season and owe all MJP viewers an apology. I am sorry I gave you a mediocre season at best. I pride myself on doing shit that is watchable and I haven’t done that. I’m sorry.
The last two episodes of the season were good, but could have been better. My rants came out really bad and poorly enunciated. I misspelled a word during uppers and downers. I was rushed on time and even driving my engineer nuts. Life has been crazy lately, however for season 5, that all will change.
Due to the fact the Pfisters are gone, I can start from scratch. I plan on retooling the show. You will see a lot of what you saw the past two episodes but there will be more planning and more thought put into it. We are going to put together a two hour season premiere. We have some new people helping out. We will have more videos. Better topics. We will bring back “Mass Debate.” We will be doing things sort of SRTV style. This will be a new chance to get more creative. To try new things and I am totally looking forward to it.
I know there are haters out there and I don’t give a shit. I have given some people good reason to hate the show as of late. But I will step it up. We are on in 75 different towns across the Chicagoland area. We are trying to break some barriers in television. We are the mJp, and we are here to kick ass, and ass is what we will be kicking come July. Stay tuned.
