Selections in PSP are wonderful to
work with. They allow you to "draw" using the free-hand tool.
Below you will find the selections I used to make some of my graphics.
They are in zip files and you will need an unzip program such as WinZip
to extract them to your selections folder in PSP 7. To get a demo of PSP
7 go here at JASC'S.
I will give the size of the image
that you will need to open for the selections. For some of them you will
need to work on the size image I give you, but put each selection on a
new raster layer, work on the selection and then move it into position.
These particular ones will be noted as such under the sample image.
Snowman
Selections Zip
Open a transparent image 578 W x
568 H. Start with the body then arms, hat, hat brim, coat sleeves and
nose. The selections will not be colored but just the "marching
ants".
The bear is
shown at 100% and the apple core at 50%. You will need to open a
transparent image 600 X600 and add a new raster layer. You will also
need to rotate the bears arms and legs into whatever position you
choose. Open each selection on its own layer (add a new raster layer for
each one*S*). He is "poseable"!
