Quick Interviews
Topic: Personal Stories

After my first book "Words From An Unchained Mind" was published I got asked to do an interview with my former college's paper; I studied for 2 years at SIUC in the 80's. The interviewer asked what I got from the university, and I said a healthy understanding of racism. I told him that I'd never been called the "N" word more than I had there. The interview ended abruptly.
