Body	Saturday was a great day for Senator Barack Obama as he picked up a big endorsement, and an even bigger primary win. Caroline Kennedy, daughter of slain former President John F. Kennedy, has endorsed Sen. Obama in the race for the White House. In the South Carolina Democratic Party Primary Sen. Barack Obama rolled to a lopsided victory over Hillary Clinton & hubby, and John Edwards. Sen. Obama captured 55% of the vote, to the Clintons' 27%, and John Edwards' less than 20%. Chants of YES WE CAN" are being heard all across America tonight as the Obama change campaign moves on into the next primary states. COME OUT AND VOTE FOR SENATOR BARACK OBAMA ON SUPER TUESDAY!!! TOGETHER WITH SEN. OBAMA YES WE CAN CHANGE AMERICA!!!

Body	While former President Bill Clinton is sleeping at tributes for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and Sen. Hillary Clinton continues to try to distort Sen. Obama's comments and record, support in South Carolina --the next primary state for Democrats-- continues to grow for Obama. Even as Sen. Clinton lashed out during the recent South Carolina Democratic Party debate, polls show Sen. Obama with a significant lead. People are tired of the old guard and want something --and someone-- new. The voters in South Carolina will send that message with an Obama primary victory.

Obama will pay attention to the healthcare needs of Americans by giving us an affordable healthcare plan. I also feel that he will actually attempt to target and eliminate Osama Bin Laden, regardless of where he finds refuge; and I honestly feel that he is the freshest candidate in the race, and most apt to make real change in the country. Body	The Chinese/Pakistani produced JF-17/FC-1 jet fighter was developed to meet Pakistan's air defense needs, while establishing a domestic capability to produce military aircraft. This was necessary for Pakistan due to a history of reliance on foreign arms (i.e. the U.S. made F-16), thus making the country vulnerable to arms embargoes. With a history of wars with her arch-rival India, Pakistan wanted to establish a domestic capability to guarantee the supply of quality arms. Consequently, in collaboration with China, the JF-17/FC-1 program was initiated and brought to fruition in 2007. The aircraft and its avionics are produced by China and Pakistan, but the engine is Russian. Herein lies the problem. India is a major arms customer for the Russians --as is China-- and India used this position to pressure the Russians into denying Chinese re-export of its RD-93 engine. This put the JF-17 program into limbo, as Chinese turbofan engine technology has not yet matured enough to produce a comparable engine. After facing mounting interest from other nations in the relatively inexpensive fighter ($20 million U.S.) Russia has finally given the go ahead for China to re-export the RD-93 engine. Pakistan has already approved purchase and co-production of the JF-17, with plans to induct between 150-300 aircraft. Other countries expected to purchase the 4th generation jet fighter are Algeria, Azerbaijan, Zimbabwe, Egypt, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia and Bangladesh. Nations expressing interest include Iran, Burma, Lebanon and Sri Lanka. Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament

Body	This past weekend I took a step back into history with a visit to Schaumburg, Illinois' Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament. Just approaching King Alfonso's Schaumburg Castle gave me the feeling of stepping into a long gone era. However it was inside the castle that history really came alive! The experience started off with staff welcoming visitors in period attire, and even using English accents. Further enhancing this trip back into time the castle was full of historical displays, including $6000 suits of plate armor and a dungeon/torture chamber. There were numerous gift shops, open liquor bars, a dance floor, and even a period sword shop. With my tour of the castle completed I made my way inside the Grand Ceremonial Arena, and all the action commenced! A four act play began, telling the tale of virtuous knights trying to bring order and justice to a war-torn kingdom. Jousts, battles, and performances by magnificently trained Andalusian war horses dominated the arena! While all of this was going on a feast was being served: Roasted chicken, ribs, potatoes, garlic bread, a tasty soup, and a nice little pastry. The food was delicious!! With the show over, I left Schaumburg Castle for my journey back into the present completely entertained and stuffed! My 9 year-old daughter Bajani also left satisfied...maybe a bit too satisfied. During the performance a mounted knight kissed a flower and tossed it to her. The sparkle of puppy love filled her eyes, and I don't think that she has put the flower down yet! My daughter lost her heart to the yellow knight -- what am I to do (LOL)! She wasn't alone among children losing their hearts that day. The little boys seated next to me were going crazy over our gorgeous serving wench (that's what they're called there). If you have a Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament near you, I highly reccommend making a visit!

Body	It has just been uncovered through government documents that the FBI had Coretta Scott King --Dr. Martin Luther King's widow-- under surveillance for years after his death. The fear of the government was that she'd continue in her husband's footsteps, relative to the civil rights movement. This should come as no surprise to those who lived through the turbulent 1960's, and 70's, or students of history who are familiar with progressive movements. Under the auspices of COINTELPRO (Counter Intelligence Program) government agencies and police departments across the country ran rampant over the civil rights of numerous Black leaders and groups, among others. The aim of the program, as it related/relates to African Americans, was to stop the rise of a Black messiah who could and would move the people It should be noted that this program was set up to do more than spy. COINTELPRO used every available means to destroy groups and leaders, including assassination (i.e. Fred Hampton). A short list of COINTELPRO targets includes Dr. Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, The Black Panther Party, and The American Indian Movement. Body	While giving an interview, NBA player Stephon Marbury expressed his support for embattled NFL quarterback Michael Vick; who has recently been in the news for his involvement in an illegal dogfighting/gambling ring. Marbury also said that he considers dogfighting a sport. Click Here to read the full story. Sadly this is another case of an uneducated person making an uneducated statement. I don't see anything sporting about causing the violent death of another living creature, simply for profit and sick thrills. It's funny how the people who consider these types of death matches sports, are never the individuals inside the cages. It's sometimes hard for people to understand situations unless they themselves are in them. To that end, why don't we have all the animal-fighting enthusiasts become modern day gladiators. Put them in something like the Ultimate Fighting Championship -- but with no rules and fights to the death. In keeping with Michael Vick's practices, whoever didn't fight up to expectations would meet a gruesome demise by way of drowning, electrocution, etc.. I wonder if those same people, while in the last throes of death, would still see this as a sport....

Body	Today America is the world's only superpower. This country can send people to the moon and beyond, create weapons to destroy the earth multiple times, lead the world in wealth and technology and so much more. America is this advanced and powerful, yet it can't --or won't-- take care of its own sick and poor. Uncle Sam was a symbol used in the past to instill patriotism in times of war and crisis. If Uncle Sam were to be drawn today to accurately represent the state of our citizenry, he would be a poor disabled man knocking on death's door. American politicians have money and health insurance so the woes of the average American citizen, who needs medical care and can't afford it, are low on their scale of priorities. The government can spend billions upon billions of dollars on the country of Iraq --and on politically motivated programs for illegal aliens-- and yet spend nothing in the way of universal healthcare for AMERICANS. There are over 40 million uninsured Americans! That is ridiculous! More than that, it is criminal! A country that can do so much for political reasons, does so little for the right reasons. Billions of dollars spent on an avoidable war in Iraq; money which could be going towards a universal healthcare program to keep all AMERICANS healthy and strong. To have the ability to feed and care for the poor and sick in our own country, and to choose not to do so is simply cruel and evil. Instead of spending time debating immigration bills for people who broke the law to get here in the first place, attention needs to be paid to the actual Americans. No politician at the state or federal level has any business asking for votes without giving universal healthcare in return. Uncle Sam is dying and he needs his meds now!!!
