Black people are more than 10 times as likely as white people to be in prison in many states. ‪#Ferguson‬ is everywhere. SHARE this now for all the people who say police violence has nothing to do with racism. Confront their ignorance.
On Monday Anthony Hill, 27, a veteran of the Iraq War who served in the U.S. Air Force, was shot to death by police in Chamblee, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta. Hill suffered from mental illness, including bipolar disorder.
Hill was seen walking and rolling on the ground in his apartment complex completely naked. He was having a psychotic episode. As a result, the police were called. When they arrived Anthony Hill was shot, rather than dealt with in a non-lethal manner. He was naked and unarmed when he was killed.
With all of the murders by police of African-American men lately, it appears to be open season -- even with a Black man in the White House!

Members of the University of Oklahoma's Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity were caught on video engaging in a racist chant with references to lynching and a refusal to allow "n_____s." The University President has stated that the fraternity will no longer be affiliated with the university.

The U.S. Justice Department recently found that Ferguson, Missouri's police department and municipal court have engaged in a pattern-and-practice of unfairly targeting African-Americans for financial gain. The city used mass scale racial profiling to raise revenue. 85% of vehicle stops were of African-Americans, 90% of citations went to African-Americans, and 93% of arrests were of African-Americans. The police were encouraged to meet quotas for citations, and most of these citations went to Blacks.
The city of Ferguson, and the racists running it, have been illegally using the legal system to essentially extort the Black community for years! Racially based arrests, violence and incarceration, all perpetrated within a paradigm of racially disparate treatment and White supremacy to fill goverment accounts while simultaneously filling jail cells. Let it be said that Ferguson is just one racist governmental operation that was uncovered. How many more such cities have yet to be found out???

I've been stopped by police for "Walking While Black." Me and friends of mine have been picked up by police for "Walking While Black" in White neighborhoods. The Zimmerman verdict sends the message that it's ok for wanna-be policemen with Clint Eastwood fantasies to racially profile, stalk, hunt down and to kill kids for "Walking While Black!" 21st Century lynchings are in effect.
Back in the 1960's, when Black people faced police brutality on a constant basis, the Black Panther Party was formed. They drove around and patrolled the police -- with guns. A similar organizaion might be needed today to escort Black children through non-Black areas. It may be time for the Black Panther Party Parents Division to come into being. If you have a child walking through non-Black areas, set up a patrol for their safety. If "Stand Your Ground" is good for Zimmerman, then it's good for African-American parents.!

People wanting to secede from the Union because Obama won. Funny how many of the people who want to break away from America come from the same Southern and Western states that tried to break the country up in the 1860's. Sounds like some people just can't give up wishing for a return to pre-civil war times when Obama would've been working on a cotton plantation instead of running the nation. No matter how many times you say it, the South will not rise again.

Barack Obama (hopefully soon to be President Barack Obama), and 88 other African-Americans -- 14 by decapitation -- had been foiled. On Oct. 22 law enforcement officials arrested 2 Southern racists for involvement in the plot: Daniel Cowart, 20, of Bells, Tenn., and Paul Schlesselman, 18, of Helena-West Helena, Ark.
