So you want to make that "1337" skin, but don't know where to start? Well this is the guide for you. I'll take you step by step on how to make your own Winbolo skin.

The first thing you need to do is download a copy of the Winbolo default skin. Once you have that done open up the .zip file so it looks like the picture above. Next pull out all the files and drag them to desired location for editing purposes.

Open up the sceen.bmp with your prefered image editing program so we can get started. You should now see on screen something very similar to this. You can edit pretty much anything but the blackout areas. If you do they'll be just covered by gaming elements. The only blackout parts of the screen.bmp you can edit are circled in white. Once you have your screen.bmp edited to your liking; save it and we'll move onto the skin.bmp file.

If you want you can also change the way the game looks (ie., tanks, bases, pillboxes) by editing this file. So say you want to edit the way your tank looks, then simply edit all the tanks that have the black top. You need to color all of the same elements so that your tank will look the same from every angle and position. Once you're done simply save (note: do not change the file name) and we'll move onto the skin.ini file.

Now the final thing we'll edit is the skin.ini file. This file tells Winbolo what's the skin's name, author who created the skin, and small note about the skin. Pretty simple, just add in the name of the skin, your screen name, and notes about the skin. Now we're done with the editing, let's move on to playing your new skin!

Run Winbolo and click on the Skins Thumb. Select your skin and click ok. load up a game or join a game to test out your new skin. Congrats on making your first Winbolo skin! Enjoy & have fun.
