...events
there's a lot of them that I want to talk about
there's a lot that I've gone through the past few days, such as:
-my celebration of the 4th of July, the trip I took to Miami, and today's adventure to [Bible on the beach]

but it's late here now, so I won't.

I was on [Deviant Art] some time earlier when I ran across this painting that caught my attention- I really loved [the colors] on this piece (not to mention, that I really enjoy abstract art). Needless to say, [since I said it many times in the comments for the picture ^_^;; ...] I really loved this painting.

-and I wonder if you liked it as well...
won't you tell me so?

-Daiko~
(I don't like the image because I know the artist,
I love the painting because I find it to be beautiful.)

I personally think that that piece of art was quite nice to look at. I am a person who does not like (and sometimes can't stand) abstract art. I think that a lot of abstract art takes away the meaning of art - i'm mainly talking about the kind that are a couple of paint drips splattered on a piece of paper or the kind that are confusing to look at. I think art should show forth the beauty of the world God has created - not distort it.

~that one particular piece or abstract art is pretty nice to look at though!

I agree with Brian. I don't care for abstract art either. I never had any formal training in art and I guess I don't know what to look for in most abstract pieces. I prefer realism. But "The Colors" is pleasant to the eye.
