the day before All Hallowed Eve
Mood:  quizzical
Now Playing: my favorite radio station, Spirit fm!
Topic: bits and pieces
(speaking of my favorite station, I don't have it linked in my sidebar anymore... I think I'll be changing this in the future though.)

-yes, today truly is the day before the night that was once known as a holy evening... I just learned some of the history behind this event, and it bothers me that this is not more well-known. It would be an excellent idea to have more people be aware that this day is supposedly a holy day because it is in preparation for All Saints' Day* which follows right after.

there's something hidden behind a cut here.

a look at two candidates
-pretty much, this is just a little something that I had started and left undone while I was online- I'm really not too sure of exactly where this URL leads it was just something that I had tried out of curiosity- you need not pay too much attention to this since I wasn't being serious with this, that is the main reason why this was hidden behind the cut intially.

and today on DA:
I ran across a new artist, Chibi Bunni-chan
she has the potential to draw even better in the future, and I like her most recent deviation even though she doesn't. ^_^;;

Angle of Fall by Nightline

Wolf Moon by Mayshing (I also enjoy her comic series that she currently has up on DA** also, she has some nice tutorials as well.

Mayshing also lead me to another artist, Tikal by way of the shoutboard in her journal (yes, I'm still referring to Mayshing- for those I have confused with my strange sentence structure. ^_^)

a favorite from the excellent artist, Maggock
this is called, Breaking Free

-------
*in the Phillipines, All Saints' Day is celebrated as a National holiday- the offices and schools are closed- they get the whole works! I wish that things were like that over here, America could sure use more holidays and time for people to be off work since we're such an overworked country. -sigh-

**please take note that this link will take you to the first page of the aforementioned "comic"

[/mostly finished entry]
(Kabi really wants his turn.)
