Anyways, when I started this entry I had run out of time intially and left it rather short -sigh-

the first thing that I did when I got online again was to show my little brother some links I had gotten through my e-mail recently for job opportunities

then I went to Google to see if I could get more

also, I have been an avid reader of American Artist for a few years now, and I just discovered that my library has a subscription to this wonderful publication. :heart: after I looked at some of the recent issues (Dec '04 and March '05 respectively) I found the website: My American artist.com

I ended up doing some music testing and here is what I had to say for a few new songs:


My Saviour, My God 4:27

this is a song which is heartening- simply, it can cheer a Christian's heart since it is a good reminder of the fundamental truths of God's powerful love

the beginning lyric is a bit dubious though
at least I had thought so at first, but it looks as if the lyric is sung to show humility and that God is beyond mere human comprehension.

gave it a rating of 5


Matchless 3:35

very solid praise and worship song
easy to sing along with and the instrumentals don't impede the lyrics at all

the layers of instrumentals aren't overwhelming at all
and though the song is repetitive, it isn't boring
and could easily be sung live and still sound good (which can be hard to do with more complex songs of this nature)

this song could easily become an earworm, that is- it could easily be a song that someone would get stuck in their head all day

gave this a rating of 5, and I believe that this song deserves it more than the other one that I reviewed a few minutes earlier
