oh my...
I find myself still here at the college library, and I haven't gotten everything that I need to do done for today. I almost didn't post today either.

-sigh-

What was it that I was doing instead?

Well, I was searching for a free webhost that provides mySQL- that's all.

I didn't do too bad today
-there were rough points in this day
and other things, but I've smoothed quite a few of them over.

-that's good.

...it's time for me to go home.

I'll be praying for you~

little post
Well, not much has happened that I find noteworthy today. I got to listen in on the live Mass of Chrism at the Cathedral of St. Jude over in Saint Petersburg (Florida)- that was pretty good.

Mostly, I've been doing what I can to help my brother get his work done during his spring break. -sigh- It's really hard. Despite what I've said, Dave is really making progress- he's written some good, solid stuff for his compositions (though it's taken him some while) and for that, I am very glad.

Thank You Lord
You help me to get through, ordinary
and trying times

I am grateful~

^_^ see you all soon,
I'll be praying for you~

pick up your cross
and let us all walk together
for it is Holy Week

I know that I've stumbled quite a bit
but now is definately the time for us all to do our best and to follow
Our Lord as He makes His way to the Cross

and so, we must do our best to follow.

Now, I will go-
actually, I will continue.

(the account of this journey will continue tommorow!!)

(if you want to know, my other updates can be read~)

that time change
is so odd- at least for the first few days
I feel a little out of it, and yesterday I found my self [inadvertantly] an hour late for everything- ugh.

I'm trying to get things back to normal
...I'm not sure if it's working.

...

-pray for me.

Lenten stumblings of mine..
(NOTE: yes, I do begin this entry screaming quite a bit, but if you care to stick around you will see why)

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHH!!
How could I have been so STUPID?!!

...sorry everyone, I just needed to vent at myself for something I did- even if I did not intend to do it.

-sigh- "What was it that Daiko did?" you ask
Well, I ate meat today- pretty much that's it.

"... so what?" you may say

I have faithfully observed Lent by not eating meat
(and by this act, going through pennance of sin
for the sake of the entire world as well as for myself)
until this day- and so, I am not happy that I did this, not at all.

The sad thing is...
the whole family (well all us at home today)
forgot today was Friday
much less Lent

and so... we all fell together
when we had a seemingly nice and innocent meal
this lunchtime around noon.

-sigh-

-pray for me...

the kindness of Filipinos
was demonstrated to me today
I'd gone to the Filipino Cultural center
(roughly 30 minutes away from my house)
and there I was treated like family, it was quite nice really.

...and now, on to different things
(ugh, I am really posting this late sorry everyone...)

Today, I woke up and I found myself with a touch of the blues- it wasn't too serious, and I'm not depressed, it's just today I was quite unmotivated and felt that I was unable to get much done. I didn't even clean my room, and I found myself waking late and even taking a nap around three o' clock. So, I'd been in a slump, and I still haven't finished what it is that I wanted to do here -sigh- oh well.

Anyways, I was playing around with the home computer today- it's working very well now (as I said in my entry before...) and I worked on my website[s]* and customized a new Daiko account for the system. ^_^ I'm still not done with it though- I'll see about getting a proper screenshot of the place now that it's all pretty and that... *goes off to take picture*

...
-pray for me, I'll be praying for you tonight~

[some] small things
as in, me succumbing to folly on this day:
April first- this occassion when people are taken for fools.

...at the moment, I don't feel up to creating and posting a high-quality entry- for today, I've not felt up to par at all.

So, I'll just list a few updates as to what's been going on over here, that is- at my house (sort of).

Let's see...

-on Monday, I got my first-ever pair of glasses

What do I think of them? I say they're pretty great- note that I did not say "perfect", this is because I have a hard time getting the spectacles to rest on my head the right way, and am adjusting them quite a bit. Aside from that, I love the way that they look- they're so stylish, and light; also, I am very happy with them since they make my vision so much clearer. It's like the difference between normal television and HDTV- yes, it's that good. ^_^

-on Tuesday, the house computer returned home (albeit, it's now located downstairs on the dining room table... oh well.)

The wonderful thing about that is, with the DSL and all the upgrades that have been made to the comp [at the Best Buy, I had told my dad to get XP for the OS, and to get more RAM- which he did!] it now runs quite smoothly and is pretty much, problem free. YAY!! Thank You Jesus!!!

and those are just a few small little things that have occured this week.

the editing I've yet to do
I like this blog of mine, I do
I want to change it so it will be ultra-customized and obey my commands (which it does now, somewhat)

...

Okay, enough of me being really weird.

I just wanted to say that there's still lots of stuff I want to do with this thing, and that I found an interesting blog (it is now a link under "blogs I want to read more often" in this current version of my online journal).

I should go work on my archive project then the cleaning up of blog-related links- bye~

****
EDIT: I just finished adding some entries to the archive, and revamping portions of my website*- mainly, I added what you see below:

[entrance] [updates] [artworks] [miscelleneous] [prayer] [compendium] [talk] [the way out~]

I am happy and glad I got that taken care of.

*feels somewhat accomplished*

(I hope that the grammer in the above phrase isn't as bad as I think it is... ^^; )

****
NOTE: *that website is also known as "Daiko-land" as you can see, it is linked in the sidebar to your right.

I have also posted this entry in it's HTML form (though that isn't readily apparent) much to my own slight annoyance/chargrin ...it was fun though.
(I am so weird) ^^;;

***
in addition:
-scratch that, I added more and went back to "normal posting mode"

-I remember that I had a topic in mind for today, I'd wanted to do an entry about children and parents as well as cover some other things. I'd said that it was probably going to be Monday (which is today) that I would do this, but I don't seem to have the time anymore. Sorry, I will be posting it though, you can count on that- I just don't know when.

light entry
by clicking around in a a friend's blog I found some nice JavaScript- the thing is, I'm not exactly sure how I would go about encoding this into my blog here. So, I'll be posting the script without the angle brackets since I won't be using it right away:

[script language="Javascript" src="http://www.truefresco.org/referrers.js"][/script]

-and there we go.

roughly a week into spring
and here I am again, in front of the computer.

-sigh- ...actually, I want to be here -so this isn't too bad (I do need to get to confession though, this Lent has had such long lines- some people have had to wait for an hour or more just to have a priest see them. yipe!!)

Today, I did want to blog about trying to be kind to children, but things are similar to yesterday's situation: plainly, I have little time.

So, I'll save my observations for the future (possibly Monday) and be elaborate. :)

****
... About my "interview" that I was schedualed for today- I went to the post office, and it turns out that that was only a mistake- I am to wait to recieve an application for my position in the mail, and only after that can I work as a rural carrier. -sigh- ...

Still, that's not too bad- I got to see the supervisor of my local post office, and I found out that she's nice. Also, it appears that I am definately going to get the job- yippie!!

*happy Daiko ends her postings here*

^_^;; bye~!
