[some] small things
as in, me succumbing to folly on this day:
April first- this occassion when people are taken for fools.

...at the moment, I don't feel up to creating and posting a high-quality entry- for today, I've not felt up to par at all.

So, I'll just list a few updates as to what's been going on over here, that is- at my house (sort of).

Let's see...

-on Monday, I got my first-ever pair of glasses

What do I think of them? I say they're pretty great- note that I did not say "perfect", this is because I have a hard time getting the spectacles to rest on my head the right way, and am adjusting them quite a bit. Aside from that, I love the way that they look- they're so stylish, and light; also, I am very happy with them since they make my vision so much clearer. It's like the difference between normal television and HDTV- yes, it's that good. ^_^

-on Tuesday, the house computer returned home (albeit, it's now located downstairs on the dining room table... oh well.)

The wonderful thing about that is, with the DSL and all the upgrades that have been made to the comp [at the Best Buy, I had told my dad to get XP for the OS, and to get more RAM- which he did!] it now runs quite smoothly and is pretty much, problem free. YAY!! Thank You Jesus!!!

and those are just a few small little things that have occured this week.

the editing I've yet to do
I like this blog of mine, I do
I want to change it so it will be ultra-customized and obey my commands (which it does now, somewhat)

...

Okay, enough of me being really weird.

I just wanted to say that there's still lots of stuff I want to do with this thing, and that I found an interesting blog (it is now a link under "blogs I want to read more often" in this current version of my online journal).

I should go work on my archive project then the cleaning up of blog-related links- bye~

****
EDIT: I just finished adding some entries to the archive, and revamping portions of my website*- mainly, I added what you see below:

[entrance] [updates] [artworks] [miscelleneous] [prayer] [compendium] [talk] [the way out~]

I am happy and glad I got that taken care of.

*feels somewhat accomplished*

(I hope that the grammer in the above phrase isn't as bad as I think it is... ^^; )

****
NOTE: *that website is also known as "Daiko-land" as you can see, it is linked in the sidebar to your right.

I have also posted this entry in it's HTML form (though that isn't readily apparent) much to my own slight annoyance/chargrin ...it was fun though.
(I am so weird) ^^;;

***
in addition:
-scratch that, I added more and went back to "normal posting mode"

-I remember that I had a topic in mind for today, I'd wanted to do an entry about children and parents as well as cover some other things. I'd said that it was probably going to be Monday (which is today) that I would do this, but I don't seem to have the time anymore. Sorry, I will be posting it though, you can count on that- I just don't know when.

light entry
by clicking around in a a friend's blog I found some nice JavaScript- the thing is, I'm not exactly sure how I would go about encoding this into my blog here. So, I'll be posting the script without the angle brackets since I won't be using it right away:

[script language="Javascript" src="http://www.truefresco.org/referrers.js"][/script]

-and there we go.

roughly a week into spring
and here I am again, in front of the computer.

-sigh- ...actually, I want to be here -so this isn't too bad (I do need to get to confession though, this Lent has had such long lines- some people have had to wait for an hour or more just to have a priest see them. yipe!!)

Today, I did want to blog about trying to be kind to children, but things are similar to yesterday's situation: plainly, I have little time.

So, I'll save my observations for the future (possibly Monday) and be elaborate. :)

****
... About my "interview" that I was schedualed for today- I went to the post office, and it turns out that that was only a mistake- I am to wait to recieve an application for my position in the mail, and only after that can I work as a rural carrier. -sigh- ...

Still, that's not too bad- I got to see the supervisor of my local post office, and I found out that she's nice. Also, it appears that I am definately going to get the job- yippie!!

*happy Daiko ends her postings here*

^_^;; bye~!

time-constrained entry
I've only got a few minutes left at my local library~

Anyways, I'd wanted to try my hand at the Friday Five and have some fun with blogging, but I'll just leave you guys with something like a mini-update: I'm going to have a job interview tommorrow at 11a.m. over here, please pray for me that I will get the job and then have a good time with it.

I'm sorry, but that's all for now.
-see you later!

nervous wreck
in progress.

Actually, I'm just kidding about that title (I think) but lately, I have been hurting myself by being too fearful and making my stress levels rise considerably.

-that really isn't normal for me, I'm a peaceful, happy kind of person- I tend to think that people are generally kind and that good is more common than evil. No... that's not exactly right, I'm just an optimist pretty much, not naive.

Well, about me being scared:
it's just that at our house the family computer has been acting up something HORRIBLE and the way things are around here, if something's wrong with the computer my father tends to blame my younger brother and be very harsh with him. I don't like this state of affars at all.

In the first place, it's not truly Dave's fault- the computer is just something made by Microsoft and because of that it's got problems.

In the second place, there's better ways of dealing with things [that are far more effective and satisfactory] than being cruel to family members.

-sigh- this really doesn't explain everything, but this is enough, and I am tired.

pray for us~
(my family)

****
Aside from this and other bad business, things have been pretty great with me. I finally turned in my paper (and did a nice job on it too) and recieved some very lovely presents from my wonderful friend Alicia (I didn't even do anything, and it's not a special day either) [she is so kind!]

and so, I am happy now.
[somewhat]

Thank you guys who've prayed [and who are still praying] for me and my family, I really appreciate it.

I want to do the same for all of you who are willing to share your prayer requests with me so please make use of my prayer and chat pages respectively.

I created those because I was thinking of the people who visited my site and wanted to get in touch with me but couldn't since I don't put out my e-mail address that often.

^_^ that said, good night and be well everyone.

arrrgh!! I could kick myself
it's less than a week into spring, and here I sit at the computer allowing myself to be held captive to the temporal wonders of the internet (especially oekaki) rather than be outside in the beautiful weather with the breezes blowing and the sun shining gently. I have work to finish, and my friends are outside enjoying Wild West Day here at the college- I want to be with them, I should be with them, for being outside and doing things is much healthier than this self-imposed imprisonment and inactivity of mine.

-sigh-

...waaah~

ugh.
Well, it's time for me to go home now and I still haven't finished what it is that I set out to do.

-sigh- I need to mail a few things and finish writing.

Still...
it is the third day of spring here
the weather is nice
my mood has picked up
my father is in decent health
my house now has DSL

and I'll be okay

even if things aren't going my way.

Thank you God.

-pray for me
that I get done what I need to
and that I will mature to be an excellent girl

maybe, by the time I post next I will have accomplished that which is important.

please DO pray for me then.

-Thank you.

"all you're doing is looking at oekaki!!"
well...Dave did say something similar to that yesterday, and it is true that I have been less constructive as I have been spending a great ammount of time looking at various oekaki boards online.

-sigh- foolish, foolish me.

Anyways, I plan to have two posts for today
-this is the first
pretty much, I am doing well aside from the problem I touched on briefly, and that's good.

I updated my website quite a bit today. (Yes, this is the same as the "Daiko land" link that I have in the orange sidebar to your right, down over there. ^^;; ...)

I added two new pages:
a page in which I have my chatterbox imbedded at this place, I have chat capability available to everyone
(of course, I am the moderator and I will not accept ANY trash- I will delete as I see fit)

and also,
my still unfinished Oekaki Compendium page
here I will have an oekaki directory of sorts, but this will take time and work on my part so it won't be complete any time soon.

-for now, that's about it

Still, I wonder if I should have signed up at Bravenet.com and gotten myself some nice web tools. Oh well. -it's time for class.

pray for me~
(I'll be back. ;)

things are looking up
sort of...

Well, I am very glad to say that my dad now appears to be normal and healthy again- yay!!

...aside from that, I was working on a rather large picture at this place: http://www.christiananime.net/oekaki
which was titled, "oh dear..." but now I seem to have lost it due to errors. o.0;; !!

-anyways, it's about time for me to leave for confession.

Thanks everyone, keep praying~

(yeah, this wasn't a decent post- more like a light update... sorry. ^_^;;)
