starving
in the land of plenty...

at least when it comes to faith
no, when it comes to showing and growing into my love of God.

You see, things are too easy for me
here and now
also, I'm making it so easy to
do things that I shouldn't
(like go and browse art and stuff online
when I should be working
when I could be praying...)
-and I don't like my behavior.

No, I don't.

There is so much here
but I am not consuming it as I should
-I'm looking at junk food
thinking it will fill me,
but it won't.

This is how it is,
me and my distractions
-sigh-

(and I find myself
unaware of the fact that I am hungry
for the things that truly matter
and I starve...)

move me, Lord and help me to stand
so that I may not fall
and be hurt
when I don't need to be

let me pick myself up
and walk down the road
even if it's painful
even if I forget what it is that I'm doing
-help me.

Pray for me and my brother!
-it's getting close to the end of our respective [school] terms and we want to be able to turn in our work and get what we need to get done
-it's hard... he's got Attention Deficit and I seem to have lost the will to work

-sigh- We need more discipline.

Anyways, it's not too late (yet)
we just need help in finishing before the cutoff dates~ -.-;;

Finally, I am feeling like myself again
I went to morning Mass
and after recieving the Eucharist
I was restored and rejuvenated.

...an interesting thing,
all Lent, my church community had to be
reminded not to say "the forbidden word" (alleluia!)

it is now past Lent
and my pastor, Father Ron
is having a hard time remembering
to close Mass with, "Alleluia, alleluia!!"

-I find that kinda funny...

Today was really interesting...
I got out of bed late because I haven't been feeling that great

Daiko status: out of order
-I just don't seem to be working right,
and the fact that I'm in this state where I have difficulty getting things done and a lack of motivation, I'm feeling kinda bad.

-sigh-

;_; ...I need fixing!!

*proceeds to re-juvinate self and be restored*

-I'm off to morning Mass...

Daiko observed the Holy Days
and went through a lot during that time.
(-bear with me, I'm afraid that this is rather incomplete as of the initial posting, I'll change that when I can)

Thursday:
I continued to help Kabi out with schoolwork, and almost got everything done. @.@

Friday:
I drank only water and fasted all day
(it was the first time that I ever did this, and I became more focused on God as a result)

I attended a solemn service at my church
at three o' clock.

I saw The Passion
-I won't be giving a complete review of the film, but I will say that I benefited from seeing it, since it served to remind me of who Jesus really is.

Saturday:
this day went by pretty fast...

I find myself still here at the college library, and I haven't gotten everything that I need to do done for today. I almost didn't post today either.

Well, I was searching for a free webhost that provides mySQL- that's all.

I didn't do too bad today
-there were rough points in this day
and other things, but I've smoothed quite a few of them over.

-that's good.

...it's time for me to go home.
